What is Dehype?
Dehype uses AI to analyze article headlines for sensationalism. It scores the hype level from 1 to 10, flags loaded phrases like “SHOCKING” or “DESTROYS,” and rewrites the headline to be neutral and factual.
How scoring works: The AI reads the full article and compares the headline's claims against the actual content. A score of 1 means the headline accurately represents the article. A score of 10 means it's pure clickbait.
Privacy
Your API key is sent directly to Anthropic's API and is never stored, logged, or visible to us.
Article content is fetched server-side for analysis but is not saved.
